The Role:
We are looking for a talented and driven Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. This is your chance to work with uniquely South African flavours and ingredients, learning and growing under experienced chefs. You’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional, beautifully plated dishes that showcase our distinct style and standards. Whether it's perfecting the braai, grilling meats, or experimenting with spices, your passion for food and attention to detail will shine through in every dish.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in your section, maintaining consistency and attention to detail
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to develop and execute new dishes that capture the spirit of South African cuisine
- Manage your section effectively, ensuring prep and service run smoothly
- Maintain the highest food safety and hygiene standards
- Work closely with the team to ensure that each plate leaving the kitchen is flawless
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Chef de Partie role or similar in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Passion for South African cuisine and culture, or a desire to learn
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A drive to deliver outstanding, flavourful dishes and enhance the guest experience
