Sous Chef – Humble Grape Islington
Humble Grape is a modern wine bar & restaurant serving seasonal, sustainable dishes made from scratch. We champion zero-waste cooking, organic produce, and food that pairs beautifully with wine.
We’re looking for a Sous Chef to join our Islington team. You’ll support the Head Chef in leading the kitchen, creating seasonal menus, and keeping standards consistently high.
What you’ll do
Cook modern, seasonal dishes with a sustainable mindset.
Support menu development & daily kitchen operations.
Lead and train the team, ensuring smooth, high-quality service.
Maintain zero-waste, nose-to-tail ethos.
What we’re looking for
Previous experience as a Sous Chef (or strong CDP ready to step up).
Passion for fresh, seasonal cooking.
Hands-on leadership and strong teamwork.
Commitment to quality and sustainability.
