I celebrated my 30th birthday in February 2022 while working at a central London restaurant. I planned the day well in advance, starting with breakfast and ending with an after-party at all my favourite spots with my closest friends.The aperitivo hour was in my favourite wine bar with four close friends. We went to Humble Grape Islington. Little did I know that by the end of the year I'd be the General Manager of this wonderful venue. And that one of my friends who was with me on that evening would be my Assistant General Manager.
